Cape Fear CREW, the leading organization for women in commercial real estate in the Cape Fear region, welcomes members and guests for a luncheon program featuring Wilmington, NC Mayor Bill Saffo. Mayor Saffo will provide an update on initiatives in Wilmington, insights on the post-Covid recovery for business and the economy, and will answer questions from guests.
The program will be held on Thursday, April 20th, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Cape Fear Country Club. Members and guests are welcome. Tickets are $30 for Cape Fear CREW members and $35 for guests and are available here.
A native of Wilmington, Mayor Saffo graduated from Hoggard High School and went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts Degree from UNCW. He is a real estate agent with Seacoast Realty and a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church. His parents are first-generation Greek immigrants. He loves spending time with friends and family. He finds it very rewarding to serve as Mayor of this great community. He serves on the Lower Cape Fear Water and Sewer Authority, the New Hanover County Tourism Development Authority, and Voyage. He has been mayor of Wilmington since 2006.
