Welcome to CREW, Katherine Hoose!  Katherine is Senior Portfolio Planning Manager in the Real Estate Strategy & Innovation sector at Truist Financial Services. In this position, Katherine is responsible for the planning and development of enterprise corporate real estate plans and strategy for a 12 million square foot office portfolio!  She enjoys space planning and design and delivering a premier workspace to her corporate teammates where they can be productive and engaged.
Katherine has worked in this field for 15 years, eight of which have been at her current employer.  She was recruited out of a Corporate Training position to help roll out standards and processes for the Corporate Real Estate Team, in-house, and was focused on Retail Bank Branches.  Ultimately, Katherine landed in the Office world, and real estate market planning.
Besides her professional position, Katherine has many other skills.  She has her MCR through CoreNet, having completed her coursework and Capstone.  Through CoreNet, Katherine's Team has been recognized and won awards for innovative design for Leadership Institute in Greensboro and a proprietary IWMS space planning management.
Katherine constantly takes on new responsibilities at work and challenges herself to learn more and advance her skill set.  She is interested in working internationally in corporate real estate in the distant future and works to build her project portfolio.  She also has considered starting her own business in property management.
Katherine is interested in seeing and hearing more about industry practices regarding space planning and design, and a good referral for her would be meeting with architects and workplace planners/innovators, and technology experts.  Cape Fear CREW puts her in touch with these opportunities and more.  Katherine loves to interact and network with like-minded individuals, learn about industry changes and progression, leverage skill sets and experience from peer professionals, and participate in events that bring in quality speakers that further educate and share how things are getting done!
On the personal side, Katherine is married and has two daughters, ages 3 and 5.  Her girls are her world, and she sees her number one job is to give them the best foundation possible, fill their hearts with love, nurture their love of life, and to appreciate their surroundings. In her little bit of free time, Katherine likes to spend time with her family, paddleboard, get lost in DIY projects, and all manners of Beach Fun.
Welcome to Cape Fear CREW, Katherine!
