This month we are highlighting Cape Fear CREW member President Elect,
Gale Wallace!
Gale and her family moved to Wilmington 16 years ago. Gale graduated with a degree in Interior Design, but left the industry to pursue a career in Property Management. After many years of managing multifamily, retail, office and industrial buildings, she couldn't find the right landing place, so she tried several opportunities such as on-line furniture sales, residential development, and facilities management with Cape Fear Community College.
In 2012,
Clarendon Properties was fortunate to find Gale. Gale's position with Clarendon Properties as Director of Project Management allows her to combine and utilize all her skill sets to learn a new trade. Clarendon Properties focuses on hotel development in North and South Carolina, and Gale is involved with every facet of the design and construction of these properties. She also is involved with a dental group based in Fayetteville for which Clarendon Properties has completed seven offices for the group with more in the planning pipeline.
Cape Fear CREW has added to Gale's professional and personal life. It has allowed her to meet many new people with whom she can share ideas, do business, and develop lasting friendships! A good referral for Gale includes new opportunities, investors and business partners.
On the personal front, Gale has been married to her husband for 34 years and they have a 25-year old son. Her hobbies and interests outside of commercial real estate include hiking, reading, travel, gardening, spending time with family and friends, cooking and trying new recipes, and reading.
A self-proclaimed perfectionist, Gale tries not to take herself too seriously. She likes to spend time with people that make her laugh, and she enjoys being surrounded by positive people.
