UNCW Student, Savannah Hess, Awarded CREW Network Foundation Scholarship

Cape Fear CREW, the leading organization for women in commercial real estate in the Cape Fear region, congratulates UNC Wilmington senior, Savannah Hess, on earning a 2022 CREW Network Foundation college scholarship. Hess is one of 30 women from Canada and the U.S. who were selected for the program and will receive a $5,000 scholarship, a paid internship opportunity, a six-month mentoring opportunity, a 24-month CREW Network student membership, and complimentary registration for the 2022 CREW Network Convention in Chicago in September. Additionally, Cape Fear CREW has granted Hess a two-year membership in the local chapter as well as matching funds for expenses for the Convention. The scholarship program supports future female leaders as they pursue university-level education that will lead to careers in commercial real estate.

Cape Fear CREW Chapter Champion and immediate Past President, Gale Wallace, said, “CREW Network Foundation is the only organization dedicating its resources solely towards transforming the commercial real estate industry by advancing women. Savannah Hess is a Senior at UNC Wilmington majoring in Business Administration with a double concentration in Marketing - Professional Selling and Entrepreneurship & Business Development. She is also minoring in Nonprofit Management & Leadership. She is Co-President of the Honors Scholars Association, President of the Habitat for Humanity Club, Vice President of the Photography Club, and a founding member of the Sales Club and Women in Business. Savannah aspires to begin a career in sales/real estate after she graduates, while obtaining her MBA. Her long-term goal is to operate her own business one day.
