We would like to welcome Andrea Troccia to Cape Fear CREW! Andrea is the Market Development Manager for Corning Credit Union. Corning Credit Union is a member-owned, not-for-profit, independent financial organization. CCU puts people first. Their earnings are returned to members in the form of lower loan rates, higher interest rates on deposits, and lower fees than what is generally available from for-profit financial institutions. CCU also delivers a wide array of products, services, and 24/7 account access options similar to those offered by for-profit financial services companies.
They say that if you love what you do then you never work a day in your life and Andrea finds that to be true. She loves working for CCU and enjoys helping others on their financial journey. Andrea just celebrated her ten-year anniversary at CCU and has held various roles over the years. In her current role as Market Development Manager, she has the opportunity to build partnerships, cultivate meaningful relationships, devote time to volunteering, and attend events out in the community with a goal to refer others to CCU for their banking needs. Andrea had no prior banking experience and started out as a member service representative. She has always had a passion for leadership and community engagement and that led her to pursue her current role of Market Development Manager.

Many of Andrea’s achievements have been in collaboration with CCU and their entire team who love where they work, live and play! The most recent achievement being the proud sponsor of the playground at Riverfront Park and event sponsor of the Grand Opening Celebration for the Riverfront Park Amphitheater. Andrea is also a recent graduate from the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce Leadership Wilmington, Class of 2020. Andrea loves to facilitate connections with like-minded professionals. CCU has so many great products & services to offer and she tell us that everyone at CREW has been so friendly, engaged and open to learning about CCU. She has also made a lot of great friends at CREW in the process.

Andrea and her husband Brian are coming up on their 15-year anniversary and when they are both not working, they love to travel. Andrea also enjoys practicing yoga, cooking, and spending time at the beach.
